Raina Thiele worked in President Obama's White House as Associate Director of Intergovernmental Affairs where she was liason to tribes and advised the President on Climate Change, the Arctic, and Energy. Raina subsequently founded a consulting company, Thiele Strategies. She is Dena’ina Athabascan of the Tulchina Clan on her mother’s side and Yup’ik and German on her father’s side. She earned her BA from Yale College and her MPP from the Harvard School of Government.
